I have more than a decade of experience in online, print and broadcast journalism, garnering countless awards ranging from feature writing to investigative reporting.
A passion for civic journalism, I was the journalist behind the popular California Budget Crisis blog, which received a statewide following as I covered the complexities of the state budget for years. I also scored plenty of exclusive interviews with politicians including President Barack Obama’s former “Border Czar” Alan Bersin.
Aside from journalism, I have found success in other areas of writing. I’ve been tapped to ghost write for former civic leaders, as well as, c-level executives. Moreover, I’ve edited books and developed content for businesses focused on user engagement.
